Should Nollywood Stars forget music henceforth? Tonto Dikeh's new singles "Itz Ova" and "Get High" which she released online yesterday was the talk of the town. And if you don't know about it by now, then what part of the planet have you been on? The whole social media networks Facebook, twitter, Bbm, 2go etc criticized the Nollywood actress songs. Some even went to the extent of creating hilarious comic photos to make fun of her. Despite this, she got over 120,000 downloads online in the space hours. Remember that, Desmond Elliot, Genevieve Nnaji, Jim Iyke, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde,etc have also tried to step out of Nollywood into the music field, yet they got public bashing as well. Stella Damasus seems to be the only Nolywood star whose music was accepted by the public. So, should Nollywood stars give up on venturing into the music industry or are Nigerians too harsh and not giving them a chance? Share your thought.
