Nigerian musician Etcetera Ejikeme is not a new
name in the music scene. Not long ago, the
talented singer whose album “ YES I AM”
dropped last year became a radio presenter.
Today, he spoke to Joy Ubeku (Inside Nollywood
With Joy) about his radio show titled Etcetera
live show on Top FM FM 90.9.
A lot of people have been talking about
“music court” on Etcetera live show. Please
could you enlighten us more on the show?
It’s a music review segment on the Etcetera live
show. It’s fashioned in a court format with Jury
and a judge, where world class musicians who act
as members of the jury critically and
constructively analyze songs from the Nigerian
music industry. Music court is not meant to
rundown any musician but to help develop their
talents through constructive analysis of the songs
in the following areas: Singing Dynamics, Vocal
range and Texture and Delivery, Song
composition, Melody, Lyrics, Mixing and
Mastering.
