He won the MOBO Award for the ‘Best African Act’
back in October 2011 beating the likes of Afrobeat
singer Seun Kuti and African pop
heavyweight D’banj but Wizkid wasn’t in the UK to
personally receive his award.
He finally did so a few days back while performing
on stage at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo, UK in the
presence of his EME crew Banky W and Skalesand of
course the thousands of fans who came to watch him
